Lauralemur, the owner of the photo, transcribes the wealth of information on the reverse thusly:

“Mary Ruth, 16 years; Ed Smith, 17 years; Cecilia Smith 15 years; Ervin Meyers, 17 years; Anna Pinny, 15 years; Ed, 17 years”. Also says, “Taken in Anna Pinny’s house in the year 1910, Dec 30, in the prescence of Mrs. Pinny, Photographer Mr. Jones, Milwaukee Wis.”

I started a blog based off a concept I was initially going to start a Flickr group for. I’m on Tumblr a hell of a lot more often so I felt it was better!

Future Flappers is basically a collection of young Edwardian era women. I’ve long loved what they wore and I love imagining what became of them in the social revolution ahead of them- the Jazz Age.
