I’d be happy to post if anyone’s got good sources. so far through my own research I’ve only found stuff about jerky, Johnny cakes and hardtack. My google-fu is weak.
but I did look up cheeses that don’t need to be refrigerated, since I’m kind of a cheese maniac. This is the list I found:
Aged Gouda
Parmigiano Reggiano
Fiore Sardo
Montgomery’s Cheddar
Appenzeller
